Overcoming marital crises

couple arguing

Eventually all couples experience a significant crisis that can threaten their emotional safety and at times even the future of their marriage. This seminar teaches how to overcome the most common marital crises but it does not replace professional help if needed. It addresses crises caused by major life changes, poorly managed stress, parenting issues, intimacy and communication problems, unresolved conflicts (about money, relatives, etc.), and how to heal from infidelity.

Key skills

Participants will learn:

  • How to solve conflicts using the "UVA" response
  • How to make the crises work for them versus against them
  • How to forgive and build a stronger marriage
