Dr. John Yzaguirre is a licensed psychologist, consultant, and author, specializing in premarital counseling, couples' therapy and marriage enrichment. A native from Barcelona, Spain, he has offered his psychological services in the United States for more than 30 years and is a former director of the psychology department at Children's Hospital of Orange County. He received his doctorate in psychology from the University of Southern California and his Master's degree in Psychology from Boston College.
With his wife, Claire Frazier-Yzaguirre, MFT, M.Div., he has co-authored Thriving Marriages: An Inspirational and Practical Guide to Lasting Happiness which has been translated into Spanish and Italian. He has been a keynote speaker on family life issues at international and national conventions in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia. He provides his psychological services in English and Spanish. His office hours are Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. His office is located near John Wayne airport at 2081 Business Center Drive, Ste. 170, Irvine, CA 92612.
